Cardinal Ethanol Celebrates 15-Year Anniversary

On August 22, 2023, ACE member Cardinal Ethanol, LLC celebrated its 15-year anniversary, where they hosted vendors, partners, founders and employees with a celebration that included a golf outing and dinner. One hundred golfers made up 25 teams for an afternoon filled with friendly competition, networking and celebration. An evening cocktail hour and dinner followed the golf outing, where 12 individual employees were recognized for 15 years of dedication to Cardinal, having been employed since they began operation. ACE would like to congratulate those employees and Cardinal Ethanol for hitting this milestone.

“Getting to 15 years of operation is a significant milestone for our shareholders, customers and employees,” said Jeff Painter, CEO/President of Cardinal Ethanol. “We would not have been able to achieve the success that we have without help. Our 15-year celebration was meant to thank our vendors, marketing partners, employees, customers, shareholders and industry friends that have made Cardinal what it is today. Without the efforts of these folks, their commitment to us and their confidence in us, we could not have made it to 15 years.”

Nebraska Organizations are “Fueling the Cure”

This October, raise money for breast cancer research by choosing higher blends of ethanol – E15 to flex fuel E85 – at gas stations participating in Fuel the Cure. Nearly 50 Nebraska retailers will donate 3 cents for every gallon of higher ethanol blends sold between Oct. 1‑31 to support cancer research and services at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha. All you have to do is fill up at a participating location. Find participating retailers at fueledbynebraska.com/pink.

Since 2018, Nebraska’s Fuel the Cure campaigns have raised over $45,000 for cancer research. Drivers will be able to identify which retailers are supporting this important cause by looking for pink signage at the pump, on the windows and at the counter.

E Energy Adams was named the 2022 Cancer Crusader for going above and beyond to educate others about healthier fuels options. They celebrated harvest with sack lunches for 150 producers, DDGs haulers and employees — also taking the opportunity to raise support for breast cancer and educate about ethanol’s contribution to reducing cancer risks. E Energy promoted the campaign at local sporting events and matched donations at Frontier Cooperative’s fuel station in Adams, Nebraska, where E Energy provides homegrown ethanol.
